So what's with the name?
Well, pandas are just adorable and we run on caffeine!
Can I get a Caffeinated Panda plush?
Not yet, but if there's demand we'll look into it
How much do they cost?
Due to the bespoke nature of our cyberfalls, prices vary depending on exactly your requirements. Obviously the bigger or more complex the set the more they'll cost, but we'll always consult with you (with no obligation!) to come up with a personal quote for you before beginning any work to ensure you're happy!
You're going to want a rough ballpark though right? Oh go on then
|Set||Prices from (£)|
|"Classic" tie-in (pure material. no electrics)||35|
|Standard ponytail with EL wire (inc inverter)||90|
please note: the above prices are provided purely as a guide. Always contact us for a personal (no obligation) quote. When we post specific examples to this site or facebook etc we'll endeavour to give a rough price that you could expect to pay for something similar.
I have fairly short / thin hair, is that a problem?
Nope! Other cyberfalls tend to come exclusively with an elastic tie-in system. For a lot of people that's perfectly fine, but for others this can cause problems with hair getting caught or not having thick enough hair to create a good anchor.
To this end we offer a range of attachment options:
|Plain elastic||The "classic" attachement. Fairly simple and suitable for thicker hair.|
|Pin & Hole system||A custom system we offer that uses a 3D printed pin (custom lengths available) to anchor your falls to a ponytail/bob. Easier to self-attach and suitable for thick or thinner hair. This is our recommended system|
|Spring grip||In this case the falls are built onto a standard sprung hair grip. Easiest to attach/remove but requires good hair anchor.|
|Full head / wig cap||A full head, pony tail or bunches attached to wig stretchy wig cap. Ideal for full head coverage or for seriously short hair! Can be made plain or to look like a bandana etc.|
I already have some cyberfalls, can you add EL wire?
Quite possibly! It depends on the construction of the set you have but there's almost always a way, so if you have a set that you want to brighten up, get in touch and we can discuss the best way to go about it and what it's likely to cost.
What is EL wire?
EL wire (also known as Electroluminescent wire) is a thin copper wire coated in a phosphor which glows when an alternating current is applied to it. Different colours are achieved by a coloured translucent plastic sheath over the wire.
How long does EL wire last?
It depends on how hard you're driving it, but on average EL wire will become half as bright after around 2800-3000 hours, as the phosphor coating begins to break down. To put in context that should be running about 6-8 hours a day, every day, for a full year.
What colours of EL wire are available?
Usually aqua (light blue), purple, deep blue, pink, red, orange, yellow, lime green, grass greem. turquoise green and white.
Exact availability depends on what we can currently source and different types of wire (thinner / thicker / animated [also known as chasing]) are only available in certain colours. Get in touch for current details.
